Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has been in the news lately for his reduced influence on the first team at the club as well as the intense transfer rumours involving European heavyweights like Inter Milan and Manchester United.
The retired German international playmaker has netted three goals and provided one assist in the Premier League this season but that has not stopped Gunners manager Unai Emery from leaving him out of the starting XI or pulling him out of the game whenever he deems it fit.
Ozil has missed the last few games for Arsenal with a back problem but reports claim could be as a result of the amount of hours he spent playing the game ‘Fortnite’
Arsenal have been linked with several replacements for Mesut Ozil including Udinese attacking midfielder Rodrigo De Paul.
North London giants Arsenal are said to be eyeing a move for the Argentine player.
Rodrigo has been in very good form for Italian Serie A side Udinese.
He has scored six goals and three assists in 15 league games since the start of the new campaign.
The 24-year-old has similarities with Mesut Ozil and he could be the man to replace the German if he decides to end his stay at the Emirates Stadium.
