Turkish giants Galatasaray are planning to sign Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck when he becomes a free agent next summer.
This is according to the report from trusted English news outlet Daily Mirror.
It was revealed that the Turkish side will try to sign the 27-year-old on a free transfer at the end of his Arsenal contract.
Danny Welbeck has just six months remaining on his current Arsenal deal and he has been told that he won’t be offered a new contract at the Emirates Stadium.
Galatasaray were keen on signing him in the summer but the England international star decided to stay on and fight for his place at Arsenal.
Fellow London club Crystal Palace are also interested in a move for Welbeck in the New Year but his injury has led to doubts over the possible transfer.
Danny Welbeck is currently out injured and he’s set to spend several months on the sidelines as a result of the serious ankle injury that he sustained last month.
The former Sunderland and Manchester United player sustained the injury while he was trying to connect with a cross from Stephan Lichtsteiner during the Europa League clash with Portuguese Super League giants Sporting Lisbon in November
