Man United Learn Asking Price For Transfer Target

Three-time European champions Manchester United have found the amount of the transfer fee that would be required to sign one of their targets ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.

The Red Devils are long-term admirers of Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil and they can sign him in a cut-price deal as confirmed by The Sun via the sportsman.

Arsenal are ready to move him on to another club in the quest to get his £350,000 salary off their wage bill.

Mesut Ozil has failed to really impress new Gunners boss Unai Emery and the German has spent a lot of time on the Arsenal bench in recent games.

The former Real Madrid and Werder Bremen playmaker made the headlines recently after he was benched for the entire duration of the North Londoners’ away game against Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Without Ozil, Arsenal defeated the South Coast club 2-1 courtesy goals from Jefferson Lerma (own goal) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The German has an Arsenal contract that does not expire until the end of the 2020/21 season.

He has been strongly linked with top-four rivals Manchester United in event weeks as well as Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.

Arsenal could sell him for just £25m according to various reports emanating from the British media.
