Chelsea player Tiemoue Bakayoko who is on loan at Italian Serie A side AC Milan is now interesting manager Rino Gattuso who is now tempted to have him on a permanent deal.
It has been revealed that the former player has hinted that he could trigger Tiemoue Bakayoko’s clause that gives them an option of having him on a permanent deal.
According to the clause in his loan deal, he could be allowed to remain with the Italian Serie A side if they are willing to meet the £35 million release clause.
Gattuso therefore hinted that he alone cannot make a decision on what happens with Tiemoue Bakayoko as the management will also be involved to give their nod and make the money available.
He stressed that he will not be interested in dwelling on the issue at the moment but will focus on having Tiemoue Bakayoko deliver his best for the club.
However, there are suggestions that the West London side will not stop a permanent deal for Tiemoue Bakayoko as they will not be having any need of him at the Stamford Bridge owing to the many options available at the moment.
The player has also hinted that he will not be returning back to England until he is assured of a starting role.
