Ecuador international star Antonio Valencia has been a wonderful servant for Premier League giants Manchester United over the years but his time at the club could be coming to an end.

The 33-year-old is not in the long-term plans of the club according to various reports emanating from the British media.

He has been frozen out of the team by the Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho.

The versatile player is the Manchester United skipper but that has not stopped him from being frozen out of the team by the Portuguese tactician.

Antonio Valencia enjoyed a fruitful spell at Championship side Wigan Athletic before signing for the Red Devils in 2009.

He normally operates on the right wing but his position was changed to right-back after some few years into his Manchester United career.

Valencia has scored 17 goals in 239 appearances for the Red Devils in the Premier League.

He has just six months left on his current Manchester United deal but the Ecuadorian could still stay in the Premier League following the interest of West Ham United.

Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini wants to strengthen his defence with a move for Antonio Valencia.

West Ham United will be able to sign him on a free transfer next summer when his Red Devils contract expires.
