Liverpool target reconsiders transfer decision

Latest report reveals that Napoli star Piotr Zielinski has had a change of mind ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming weeks.
Before now, it was reported that Piotr Zielinski would be interested in a move away from the Italian Serie A amidst interests from English Premier League clubs.
However, Piotr Zielinski is now considering to remain with Napoli and would seek to extend his stay by signing a new contract with the club.
The report adds that Piotr Zielinski’s representatives are also not interested in him leaving Napoli but will ensure negotiations with the club to have a new deal tabled for the star player.
Piotr Zielinski has got a contract with Napoli which ends in 2023 but with the latest development, he could be set to stay.
Aurelio di Laurentiis also want the 24-year-old to remain but have splashed an asking price of about €80 million.
However, Liverpool will only be handed a boost if the player fails to agree to a new deal with the club knowing that he is no longer a regular at the club.
The Reds are desperate for a midfielder as they seek to mount pressure on league leaders Man City when the second half of the season resumes in January.
