West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic might have to wait for a dream move to Manchester United or any other Champions League club after an injury setback.
Arnautovic has already talked about his desire to play for a club playing in the Champions League and he has repeatedly been touted as a possible signing for clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea.
Earlier reports claimed that the Austrian international player will join the Red Devils in a £50m deal when the transfer window reopens in the next few weeks.
The potential transfer to Manchester United is in doubt after he sustained a hamstring injury while he was playing for West Ham United in a Premier League clash with newly promoted side Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
Marko Arnautovic played for 39 minutes against the Bluebirds before succumbing to the aforementioned injury.
He was swiftly replaced by Lucas Perez who went on to make his mark by scoring a brace to lead the Hammers to a 3-1 victory at home.
It was revealed earlier on Thursday that Marko Arnautovic will be ruled out until next year as a result of the injury.
As confirmed by his club, Marko Arnautovic will miss at least the next one month.
