Chelsea get positive response in pursuit of £53m forward

Chelsea has received a hint that they are cleared to have the signature Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek but have been told they will pay a record fee of £53 million.

Krzysztof Piatek is just having his first season with the Italian side but has done the unthinkable by scoring 14 goals in his first 15 games. The feat by the Poland international has made him catch the needed attention from big clubs.

Chelsea is therefore ahead in the bid for the forward knowing that they are in dire need of attackers with former Arsenal forward Olivier Giroud and former Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata failing to score goals.

It is, therefore, being reported that Spanish giants Real Madrid are interested in the signature of the Genoa forward but seem to have been beaten by the West London side.

Krzysztof Piatek has been tagged with a price of £53 million but that will not be too much for the Blues to pay knowing the quality he has got which includes his ability to score many goals.

Suggestions are, the West London side will make use of Krzysztof Piatek as a replacement for Belgium star Eden Hazard who is reported to be leaving the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
