Premier League giants Manchester United could take advantage of Goncalo Guedes’ situation at Spanish La Liga side Valencia by making a move for him when the transfer window opens.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of the 21-year-old as reported by teamtalk.
There were reports of a bust-up between him and his coach Marcelinho during the weekend’s loss to Champions League holders Real Madrid.
Guedes and his Valencia team were beaten 2-0 by their hosts.
Manchester United were said to be interested in the Portuguese international winger in the summer before Valencia made his move permanent from French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Guedes was initially on a season-long loan from the French capital club last season before Valencia splashed the summer of €40m to sign him permanently.
The decision to sign him was an easy one after he scored five goals in 33 La Liga games for Valencia from his wide position as he helped the Los Che qualify for this season’s Champions League via a fourth-place finish at the end of the last campaign.
The earlier report claim that the Red Devils would have to bid at least €65m if they want to sign the Portuguese winger from fellow Champions League campaigners Valencia.
