Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has told manager Jurgen Klopp that his major problem in his team is in the midfield which must be tackled.
Liverpool legend made this following Liverpool’ slim 1-0 win over Everton in their Merseyside derby on Sunday, hinting that his former side struggled at that department.
According to Graeme Souness, the player who should have been brought in to proffer the solution is Lyon Playmaker Nabil Fekir because of the qualities he has got, adding that a deal ought to have been concluded for the player in the last summer.
It was reported that the Reds made efforts to secure the services of the star player in the summer but negotiations with the club failed to fall through despite reportedly travelling to the Anfield to have a medical with the English Premier League giants.
Graeme Souness noted that the Jurgen Klopp team are currently in great form but that does not mean they are perfect in all positions while citing the midfield as the loophole in the team.
According to him, the defence and the attack are perfect and may not need any additions but stressed that something must be done to ensure that the middle is strengthened in the winter window.
