Chelsea are already getting set to storm the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks but that is not to say that they will have all deals successful.
This is because of the fact that a number of clubs will be unwilling to release their players while some targets will be unwilling to move away.
Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi is one of the players who have been linked but could not see a move to the Stamford Bridge because of his unwillingness to move on.
The 25-year-old, who is established as one of the most prolific forwards in Europe, hints that he has got a future with Nerazzurri and will not be moving away anytime soon.
Mauro Icardi has scored a total of 128 goals in 228 games in his career to date which makes him the quality needed by the West London side.
However, they will have to look other direction to be able to secure a prolific attacker who will bring the competition for Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud in the second half of the season or wait for Mauro Icardi until he will be ready for a move.
Meanwhile, Chelsea are desperate for a title win this season with Maurizio Sarri having his eyes on the Europa League and the Premier League.
