Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly open to the idea of letting midfielder Scott McTominay leave the club temporarily when the January transfer window reopens in few weeks time.
According to the publication from eatsleepsport, Red Devils officials are willing to let the 21-year-old go out on loan for the rest of the season.
It was also revealed that Scott McTominay will only leave the club on one condition.
He will only leave Manchester United for a loan deal to a Premier League team.
Several English Championship sides were linked with a loan move for the player during this summer’s transfer window but Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho opted to retain his services for the season.
Championship clubs are expected to make a move for him again during the mid-season transfer window.
Scott McTominay came through the ranks at the club before making his debut for the Red Devils last season.
The Scottish international player was a regular fixture in the Manchester United team in the opening weeks of this season before the aforementioned Mourinho took him out of the team amidst the disappointing start to the new season.
He was an unused substitute as Manchester United booked their spot in the knockout stage of the Champions League with a 1-0 home win over Young Boys in their Matchday 5 clash.
