Italian Serie A giants Juventus have reportedly lined up a replacement for Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey ahead of the winter transfer window scheduled to begin as from the 1st of January.
According to the publication from The Sun via BelfastTelegraph, Juventus will move for Paris Saint Germain (PSG) midfielder Adrien Rabiot if they fail to agree on a deal with Welsh international star Ramsey in January.
Juventus are one of the clubs in the running for Ramsey with earlier reports claiming that the Italian champions have already offered him a contract of around £200,000 on a weekly basis.
Ramsey has six months left on his current Arsenal contract and is almost certain to leave the Emirates Stadium following the decision of the Gunners to withdraw their contract offer to him.
He signed for Arsenal as a teenager in 2008 from newly promoted Premier League side Cardiff City and has spent over a decade in North London.
The Welshman is the longest-serving Arsenal player.
The aforementioned report claimed that the Italians have made PSG star Rabiot their alternative to Ramsey in the event that they can get their main target.
French international player Adrien Rabiot also has six months left on his contract at PSG and could start negotiations with foreign clubs as from the New Year.
