Emerging reports claim that Chelsea powerhouse N’Golo Kante might leave the Stamford Bridge sooner than expected, according to former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino.
The Blues legend hints that the former Leicester City star is unhappy at the West London because he is being played out of position by manager Maurizio Sarri.
Kante was able to make his name as a holding midfielder which helped him succeed and win the Premier League at Leicester City and Chelsea in the following year.
But he has now been drifted to an advanced role to favour Jorginho and that has not been easy for him to pull together in addition to the gradual dip in form of the Blues team.
The Italian boss in his argument defended his decision by stating that the World Cup winner does not possess the technical ability to fill the defensive role which is the major reason why his position had to be changed.
However, the Chelsea legend disagrees with Sarri’s stand on Kante by stating that the French man is the best in the world in that defensive position.
He noted that despite handing Kante a new contract at the club, top clubs will come looking for him which could lead to his end at the club.
