West London side Chelsea have learnt the £50 million price tag for in-demand Genoa striker Krzysztof Piatek ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
Chelsea are strong suitors for the star striker with manager Maurizio Sarri reported to be interested in Krzysztof Piatek to have him provide strong competition for under-firing strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud.
Krzysztof Piatek is the highest goal scorer in the Italian Serie A league with 10 goals so far this season ahead of superstar and Juventus player Cristiano Ronaldo.
This does not stop the Italian outfit to wish for his departure from the club as they seek to cash in on him to be able to execute other transfer deals in the coming transfer window.
Genoa are reportedly aware of the fact that top European clubs have queued up for their star man and will be willing to release him to the club with the highest bid having learnt of interests from Spanish giants Barcelona and Napoli as well.
With Chelsea expected to sign at least a striker in the coming window, Krzysztof Piatek could just be the deal for them as they are strong title contenders this season having started on a good note.
