French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) have joined others in the race for highly-rated Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira ahead of the January transfer window scheduled to start in the next few weeks.
Various media reports claim that that the moneybags have made an offer for the 22-year-old.
He could possibly be a replacement for wantaway PSG midfielder Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot, 23, is said to be on his way out of the club after rejecting several contract offers with just six months left on his PSG deal.
Media reports believe he has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Spanish giants Barcelona.
The French Ligue 1 giants would need to replace him.
They are the second club to make an offer for Andreas Pereira.
Arsenal are also keen on a move for him but they are yet to make a concrete offer for him.
The Brazilian midfielder spent last season on loan in Spain with La Liga giants Valencia.
Los Che are also interested in a permanent move for him.
Pereira has less than six months on his current Manchester United contract though the Red Devils can activate the clause of an additional year thus taking his time at the club until the end of the 2019/20 season.
