Former Arsenal defender Ashley Cole is keen to return to England during the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from January 1.
Ashley Cole is a free agent after he was released by LA Galaxy earlier this week.
The ex-AS Roma and Chelsea left-back was one of eight players released by the Major League Soccer (MLS) side on Monday.
The 37-year-old had earlier joined LA Galaxy in 2016.
He scored three goals in 86 appearances for the Los Angeles-based side.
The retired Three Lions of England international has received many offers since he became a free agent but he’s said to be focused on securing a move back to England.

Ashley Cole last played in England in the colours of Chelsea before joining Italian Serie A side AS Roma in 2014.
The English defender spent eight hugely successful years with the Blues and he was part of the team that won both the 2012 Champions League title and 2013 Europa League title.
Ashley Cole is an Arsenal Academy graduate.
He came through the ranks at Arsenal before making his first-team debut in 1999.
The defender left the North London club in a swap deal to Chelsea in 2006 with Frenchman William Gallas moving in the other direction.
