Arsenal will have to see off severe competition from numerous European clubs in the quest to sign Chelsea wonderkid Callum Hudson-Odoi.
According to the report from renowned English media portal The Sun, Arsenal interested in signing the young English attacker.
It was also revealed that German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are leading other interested clubs in the race to sign the 18-year-old.
His long-term future as a Blues player is in doubt with just 18 months left on his current Chelsea contract.
Apart from Arsenal and Bayern Munich, Spanish La Liga champions Barcelona and Italian Serie A side Juventus are also said to be keen on a transfer for Hudson-Odoi.
He broke into the Blues first team this season.
Callum Hudson-Odoi impressed for Chelsea in his first game for the Blues which ended in a 2-0 loss to Premier League title rivals Manchester City in this year’s Community Shield.
Sergio Aguero scored both goals for the Citizens in that game.
Callum Hudson-Odoi could be a replacement for the injured Danny Welbeck at Arsenal.
Welbeck is expected to miss the rest of this season in the wake of the serious ankle injury he sustained in the Gunners’ Europa League game against Vorskla Poltava.
