There are fears that Liverpool attacker Lazar Markovic might not be able to leave the Anfield any time soon as earlier anticipated after picking up an injury that will keep him out of action for about a month.

The development remains a setback for Lazar Markovic who has been with the U23 for a while without being able to break into the first team and a move which was believed to be on the cards is now being threatened by the injury.

Lazar Markovic has got a number of offers from clubs across Europe which is expected to hand him his experience of first-team football.

Clubs in Italy, Belgium including Genoa, Fiorentina, Standart Liege, Olympiacos, Udinese and Anderlecht are believed to have interest in Lazar Markovic and are already ready with a bid for him.

With the number of options available on his table, Lazar Markovic is expected to give his nod to any of the clubs that can guarantee him a starting place in the team in addition to a luring offer.

There is no doubt that he will be allowed to leave the Anfield but it is now unclear if clubs will still move in knowing his injury situation.
