West London club Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is now interesting Italian side AS Roma and they are reported to be preparing a bid for him ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
Tiemoue Bakayoko has interested a number of clubs in the past weeks with English premier side Fulham and Italian Serie A outfit AS Milan also keen on his signature.
While the Stamford Bridge club have been quiet on the speculations regarding his future, the Chelsea star has been on loan with AC Milan and a return back to his real owners is unsure owing to his inability to progress more than expected.
The West London club also have a number of options in the middle who are yet to find enough playing time, making Tiemoue Bakayoko surplus to requirement.
Therefore, with a decision expected on his future, Milan are seeking to have him on a permanent deal but there are fears he might not impress as he has been inconsistent in performance.
However, Roma identified the 24-year-old Blues midfielder as having huge potential and being the best option to strengthen the team and they are ready to meet up with the £35 million release clause for the player.
