Genort Rohr

Nigerian national team coach Gernot Rohr has spoken on the future of two Liverpool young lads Dominic Solanke and Ademola Lookman as regards their national team allegiance.

Both young stars are yet to see any first-team football in the national team as they both stand a chance to either play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria or the England national team.

At the moment, both of them are set to represent the Young Lions at the 2019 UEFA European U21 Championship in June with the English team.

However, there have been lots of efforts by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF to convince the players into committing their national allegiance to Nigeria so as to be handed a call-up to the Super Eagles but there has been no result.

In his reaction when approached by journalists, the Super Eagles tactician made it clear that the young lads are yet to be convinced about the Super Eagles and will rather focus on the Young Lions for now.

Rohr, therefore, hinted that the players will be approached later after they must have concluded the 2019 European Youth Championship.

The Super Eagles have previously won the English team for Ola Aina, Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses.

Arsenal will reportedly make a third bid for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney in the coming days.

This is according to the publication from Daily Record which revealed that the Gunners are preparing a third bid for the Scottish international left-back.

It was revealed that Arsenal will make another £25m for the player with better payment arrangement.

Arsenal had earlier made a second bid of £25m which included £7m in add-ons.

Celtic swiftly turned down that second bid which had just £18m in upfront payment.

Arsenal will offer more in upfront payment from the £25m to meet the financial demand from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.

The Gunners have identified Kieran Tierney as their major transfer target in their quest to sign a new left-back this summer.

They had earlier made a first bid of just £15m for the player.

Arsenal left-backs Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Mineral were unable to meet up with what was demanded by club manager Unai Emery in that position hence the need to sign a new player for that position.

Kieran Tierney, 22, has been recovering from hernia and hip problems but he’s expected to be fit by next month.

He wants the move to Arsenal but the Scottish player won’t force the transfer.

Gareth Bale

Premier League club Manchester United have turned down the opportunity to sign embattled Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale this summer.

This is according to the publication from the stables of the London Evening Standard which revealed that Manchester United have passed up the opportunity to sign the former Tottenham Hotspur hitman.

Manchester United are long-term admirers of Bale who’s surplus to requirements at Real Madrid after six seasons at the club.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane confirmed that the player is not in his plan at the weekend.

According to him, Gareth Bale will leave Real Madrid for a new club this summer despite the fact that he still has three years left on his current deal.

Bale became a Real Madrid player in the summer of 2013 when he joined the Los Merengues from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur for a then world-record fee of £85.3m.

He held that record for three years before Paul Pogba moved from Juventus to Manchester United for £89m during the summer transfer window in 2016.

Gareth Bale has scored more than 100 goals for Real Madrid since his move to the club six years ago.

The Welsh international forward won four Champions League titles during that period.

Harry Maguire

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has been told what to do to get his dream move to Manchester United during this summer’s transfer window.

Harry Maguire has been linked with a move to Manchester United for the majority of this summer.

The 26-year-old is keen for the move to Manchester United to happen but Leicester City are holding out for a lot of money for him.

He has been advised on what to do to get his dream move by former Premier League player Charlie Adam.

While he was on British radio TalkSport, Charlie Adam told Harry Maguire that he has to force the transfer if he wants to become a Manchester United player this summer.

Harry Maguire has been a long-term transfer for Manchester United dating back to last summer when the former Sheffield United player impressed a great deal for the Three Lions of England at last year’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.

He was part of the England team that finished the tournament in fourth position.

Manchester United have already made a £70m bid for him this summer but the Foxes are holding for more than £80m which will make him the most expensive defender in world football.
