Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah could leave the club on a short-term loan deal during the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
The 19-year-old is said to be attracting interest from English Championship side West Bromwich Albion just weeks before the January transfer window reopens as reported by footballfancast.
West Brom suffered relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season and the Midlands club would be hoping to bounce back into the English top flight at the first time of asking.
West Brom presently occupy the 4th spot on the English Championship league table.
Jay Rodriguez, Newcastle United loanee Dwight Gayle and Hal Robson-Kanu are the forward options at the Hawthorns.
It remains to be seen whether Arsenal would be willing to let young English striker Arsenal leave the club in the New Year even if it’s for some months.
This is due to the injury suffered by compatriot Danny Welbeck just before the international break.
The England international forward could miss the rest of the season after sustaining a serious ankle injury thereby leaving Eddie Nketiah as the only backup option to the regular striking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
