Ousmane Dembele

Emerging reports state that star striker Ousmane Dembele has submitted a transfer request to his owners and Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona to be able to push for a move in the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

There have been speculations over time that the player is unhappy at the Camp Nuo over his inability to secure enough playing time and has been secretly pushing for a move away.

The Speculations were therefore dismissed by the player’s agent who claims that Dembele is happy with the Spanish side and will not fancy a move elsewhere in the nearest future.

With the latest report, Liverpool who are strong candidates for the star player will now be boosted to make a bid with Barcelona now believed to be willing to make a deal for the player.

It has therefore been reported that Dembele has already held preliminary talks with an unnamed club over an offer in January with a fee already agreed for the deal.

Suggestions are that the 26-year-old might finally be on his way to the English Premier League with the Anfield being the favourite in this case.

North London side Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are reported to be interested in having Dembele but they were never favourites.
