19-year-old Yunus Akgun who plays for Turkey topflight club Galatasaray has now emerged as a top Priority for the Premier League giant Liverpool ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

Yunus Akgun produced an outstanding performance for Turkey U19 against England U19 which caught the attention of several European clubs and they are beginning to make enquires for him at the club level with scouts reported to be storming Turkey for him.

A report according to ESPN FC reveals that Italian champions Juventus are also seeking for Yunus Akgun’s signature with West London side Chelsea also linked to the player.

With his contract with the Turkish outfit expected to end in 2020, there are suggestions that Galatasaray will find it difficult to keep hold of the player until then because of the strong attention he keeps getting.

Yunus Akgun has scored a total of 4 goals in six appearances this season as a midfielder for his Turkish U19 national team while he has got an assist for Galatasaray this season.

However, the Reds should be ready to pay heavily for the player whose release clause has not been made open with the club expected to value him based on his performance per time.
