ESPN pundit Stewart Robson has slammed Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri for having to stick to Jorginho who to him has been poor for the Blues side.
The attack on the Blues boss came after they lost 3-1 to Tottenham in the London derby game of the Premier League on Saturday.
The defeat makes it the first of its kind this season and since the former Napoli boss took over in the summer.
Sarri ensured the signing of Jorginho from his former Italian club this summer but he has not been convincing enough and gas yet to justify the amount invested on him.
The Italian boss had also affected some changes in roles at the Stamford Bridge as he placed Jorginho in N’Golo Kante’s holding forward while the former Leicester City powerhouse was made to play a more advanced role.
The ESPN pundit is of the opinion that the decision has been a disaster for the West London side, advocating for a return of the French man to the role he is known for.
Stewart Robson wondered why Sarri has always favoured Jorginho in his team as he thinks the player does not deserve it.
However, the Blues have now been overtaken in the second position by Liverpool and have landed at the fourth position in the Premier League table.
