The new contract extension handed to Senegal international Sadio Mane has raised concerned that the Liverpool are willing to let Fabinho leave the Anfield.

Sadio Mane was handed a new deal that will keep him at the Anfield until 2023 to calm nerves as he is being linked with a move away from the club with Spanish giants Real Madrid working behind the scene to have the former Southampton player.

The development has now brought ease to the team knowing that Mane was the only player who was without a new deal amongst the Reds attackers with Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah already handed new contracts earlier.

However, Fabinho who is not in the heart of the Jurgen Klopp’s team and has been inconsistent in his performance is being reported to be on his way as a result of the new development at the club.

In his reaction, the German boss dismissed the fears, stating that the Brazilian will remain at the club and will not be moving as reported by the press.

Klopp while responding to questions in his press conference stated that the former Monaco player is not in anyway interested in a move away.

The Reds are keen to end the season with a title win and they are not willing to let any of the players leave.
