Chelsea midfielder pleads for loan move

Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is seeking for a loan move away from the Stamford Bridge and he is reported to be pleading with the club to sanction the move.

Loftus-Cheek is in search of a first team football which he has been unable to secure with the West London side as he is desperate to secure his place with the England national team.

There is no doubt that having a national team call-up under manager Gareth Southgate will be difficult if Loftus-Cheek fails to secure a starting role at a club site.

It would be recalled that Loftus-Cheek had a loan spell to Crystal Palace last season where he had 25 appearances and that was enough to fly him to Russia for the World Cup with the England national team.

Having returned to the Blues team, Loftus-Cheek has been favoured behind fellow countryman Ross Barkley in addition to the many options in the Maurizio Sarri team to deny him enough playing time.

The Italian manager had last month explained why Loftus-Cheek has not been seeing regular football by noting that there are three midfielders including the English man who are offensive while another (N’Golo Kante) is defensive which means only one out of the offensive midfielders will see a game.
