Federico Chiesa

West London club Chelsea are in the danger of missing out on Federico Chiesa following reports that Italian giants are already finishing negotiations with the Italian outfit Fiorentina for the attacker.

The Blues have been long admirers of the tactical forward with the hope that they could have him join the Stamford Bridge in the winter transfer window.

This is not good news for the London club as they are now in the position of losing the star player to the Italian Serie A club.

Chelsea are struggling with the form of Alvaro Morata, and Olivier Giroud who are both goal shy this season with the French striker yet to score a single goal so far this season.

Liverpool and Italian champions are also reported to be interested in Federico Chiesa’s services but they are all set to lose him to Fiorentina if reports coming from Italy are anything to go by.

The La Viola youth academy has risen to be one of the best in the Italian league since joining his current side. He has scored two goals this season in 15 appearances across all competitions.

Meanwhile, Chelsea will hope that the club’s strikers return to scoring form so as to further push for the Premier League title as they are now two points behind Manchester City.
