Chelsea are reported to have taken a stand on the future of out-of-favour defender, Andreas Christensen following reports that links him away from the club.

According to reports the Blues have arrived at keeping the Danish international beyond the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks with the hope of turning down all offers for him.

Andreas Christensen is believed to be unhappy at the club because of the lack of playing time but The London Evening Standard reports that the West London club will not grant him his wish.

It has been reported that Italian outfit AS Roma and Gladbach have both moves for Andreas Christensen but they failed with the club rejecting their offers.

Meanwhile, the player’s father recently hinted that his son is open for a move away in January after learning that a lot of clubs across Europe are interested in his service.

Andreas Christensen is unable to make the Maurizio Sarri team this season as he has only seen one game but he is needed as a backup player in case of injuries and red cards.

Meanwhile, the West London club are keen on silverware this season and they are unwilling to leave anything to chance until the end of the campaign.
