It is reported that Italian giants AC Milan have made their interest in Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas more official as they make contact to inquire about his availability.
Fabregas has been a subject of speculations away from the Stamford Bridge for the past few weeks knowing that he has been struggling to secure satisfactory playing time at the club under manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Former Gunners star player has earlier made his case known to the former Napoli boss stressing that he can still play actively for a number of years and deserves to be in the team.
However, reports say AC Milan have spoken with Fabregas’ agent on the possibility of having a deal fall through in the coming January transfer window.
A number of clubs have been speculated to be interested in the services of the former Barcelona star with Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Galatasaray all linked to him.
However, the conclusion of the discussion between the two parties was not made open but there are possibilities that a deal could fall through in coming weeks.
It is also unclear if Maurizio Sarri will stop a move for the Spanish player but it is clear that Fabregas has not been in the plan of the Italian boss going by the selections he has made in Premier League games
