Chelsea are reportedly preparing to storm Manchester United for a bid to sign French international striker Antony Martial ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

This is coming after United were reported to also be repairing a big money bid to steal away the powerhouse at the Stamford Bridge, N’Golo Kante in the same transfer window.

The West London side were quick to announce that a new and bumper deal will be handed to the World Cup winner so as to keep other suitors away.

However, the Blues are making efforts to take advantage of the fact that they are yet to agree on a deal with the French forward so as to lure him to the Stamford Bridge.

Anthony Martial’s current deal expires in 2020 which means he still has until next two summers to say goodbye to the Red Devils but the management are not ready to take the risk as they plan to keep the former Monaco star who has proved to be a player for now and for the future.

Although, it is reported that United have already activated a year-long extension clause in his deal so as to buy more time.

Should United fail to agree on a deal with the young lad, the Blues will be glad to welcome him.
