Adrien Rabiot

One of Liverpool’s targets Adrien Rabiot has now been lost to Spanish giants after it was claimed that he has agreed on a move from the French giants Paris St Germain to Barcelona.

The Reds were reported to have submitted an offer for the PSG midfielder who will be out of contract with the French side at the end of next summer and were awaiting a response.

The French side were believed to have offered a fresh deal to Adrien Rabiot but it seems he is bent on a new challenged has considered the offer from the Spanish giants.

It was reported that Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal made a trip to Paris where Adrien Rabiot gave him his word that he will be having a move to the Camp Nou at the end of the season.

There are suggestions that PSG will be unhappy with the player’s decision knowing that he will be missed having played about 200 games and scoring 23 goals in all competitions.

However, Liverpool will have to turn their attention to other targets as it is now obvious that Adrien Rabiot is unwilling to have a move to the English Premier League and most importantly, the Anfield club.
