Arsenal Encounter Brickwall In Star Player Pursuit

Arsenal are facing a big fight in their pursuit of highly rated Villareal midfielder Pablo Fornals in the wake of his club’s refusal to do a deal with the Gunners.
Spanish newspaper Sport has stated that the Yellow Submarines are not interested in letting the player leave the club.
The Spanish international has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the last few days as the Gunners search for possible midfield additions when the January transfer window reopens in a few weeks’ time.
Widespread media reports claim that the North London giants are ready to activate the £17.8m release clause in his current Villarreal contract ahead of the second half of this season.
The 22-year-old has been in sensational form for Villarreal in what’s a struggling side in the new Spanish La Liga campaign.
Villarreal are currently languishing in the bottom five of the league after a run of three draws and two defeats from the last five matches.
The Europa League campaigners are in 16th spot with just 11 points from their first twelve games of the new season ahead of this weekend’s meeting with in-form Real Betis.
Villareal would be hoping that Pablo Fornals will continue his good form when they entertain Real Bets at home in the week 13 meeting.
