Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign highly-rated midfielder Declan Rice ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
Declan Rice plays his club football with Premier League side West Ham United at the moment.
According to the report from Daily Express, several clubs have joined Manchester United and Chelsea in the quest to sign the 19-year-old from West Ham United.
German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal and Liverpool are the latest clubs to show interest in Declan Rice who’s in a contract standoff with the Hammers.
He is currently on a small salary of just £3,000 per week and has rejected a new contract offer of £20,000 per week from West Ham United despite the fact that he has less than two years left on his current deal.
Declan Rice is said to be holding out for the double of what he was offered by the East London side (£40,000).
He joined West Ham United at the age of 14 after he was released by London rivals, Chelsea.
Rice rose through the ranks at the club before making his debut for the Hammers last season.
