Seven-time European champions AC Milan have made an approach for Manchester United defender Eric Bailly ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to start as from the 1st of January.
The Italians asked about the availability of the 24-year-old for a transfer to the San Siro when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The Ivorian international defender has been linked with a move out of Old Trafford after he fell out of favour with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.
He has made just five appearances for the Red Devils this season.
His last appearance in a Manchester United shirt came in October.
The Red Devils have conceded 21 goals in just 12 Premier League games in addition to just one clean sheet and Jose Mourinho is keen to rectify the problem ahead of the second half of the season.
