Italian Serie A giants Napoli have made the decision on the future of Arsenal loanee David Ospina at the club.
Colombian international shot-stopper Ospina is on a season-long loan deal at the club from Premier League outfit Arsenal.
He signed for the Champions League campaigners during this summer’s transfer window.
Ospina was recently part of the Colombia squad that reached the first knockout stage at this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
Colombia were eliminated from the tournament by England in their last 16 clash via penalties.
His Arsenal exit was inevitable in the summer in the wake of the arrival of new Gunners’ signing Bernd Leno from German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
Arsenal paid around £20m to secure his transfer from the Europa League campaigners.
Leno’s arrival pushed him to the third choice in the goalkeeping department behind the new signing and retired Czech Republic international Petr Cech.
David Ospina has impressed a great deal in the colours of Napoli after he got his chance through the injury to Alex Meret.
He has made 11 appearances for Napoli in all competitions.
According to the report from Italian media outlet calciomercato, Napoli paid around 1 million euros to secure his loan signing from the Gunners.
