Tottenham Ahead Of Arsenal In Race For 24-Year-Old Star
North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur presently occupy a higher position than Arsenal on the Premier League table and they could record another measure of success over the Gunners following the news that they are favourites in the race to sign a Premier League defender.
According to the publication from the Daily Express, Tottenham Hotspur are ahead of the Gunners in the quest to sign Manchester United defender Eric Bailly as confirmed by bookmakers Ladbrokes.
The 24-year-old is 3/1 to join Tottenham when the transfer window reopens in the New Year, while Arsenal are 4/1 to sign the player.
Eric Bailly joined Manchester United from Spanish La Liga side Villareal in the summer of 2016 and big things were expected from him but he has failed to really live up to fans’ expectations.

The Ivorian international centre back has made just five appearances for Manchester United this season.
Various media reports claim that Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho is looking to move him on alongside Marcos Rojo as he tried to sign a new centre back to boost his porous defensive department.
Manchester United have been able to keep just one clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
