It has been revealed that Liverpool star player James Milner will not quit the Anfield only if Leeds United does not gain promotion to the Premier League next season.

Should they secure a ticket to the English topflight he will say a goodbye to the Reds to rejoin his former club having hinted that his heart lies there.

James Milner left Leeds, his childhood club in 2004 after which he has played for Newcastle United, Aston Villa, Manchester City and now Liverpool. He is keen on ending his career with his first club as he is in his last years of active football.

He is one of the most experienced players in the Jurgen Klopp’s team knowing that he has seen the heights of football at the age of 32.

Daily Star reports that the former England international still has the love for his first club at heart and he has made that vow to end his active football career there.

Milner is one of the players who are pushing for Liverpool to win a silverware this season so that they can leave the stage while the ovation is high knowing that they are no longer in good standing with other young players.
