Chelsea and Liverpool are reported to have missed out on the opportunity to sign Corinthians wonderkid Pedrinho despite being available.
It was reported that Pedrinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian was interested in having his player move to the top clubs in Europe in the summer and earlier in the January transfer window.
According to reports, Kia Joorabchian contacted the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris St Germain and Ajax to have the service of the player but none of them heeded to his plea until the Brazilian returned to his country to join Corinthians.
Liverpool was highly pressurized to have the player because they are known to have a good relationship with Brazilian players knowing with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Alisson Becker and Fabinho all excelling at the club.
It was reported that the manager Jurgen Klopp rejected Pedrinho on two occasions but the agent seems not to be giving up as he is open that the German manager will soon be convinced on the youngster who can play as a winger despite being a no. 10.
A move Chelsea is not feasible at the moment with the many options available to manager Maurizio Sarri at the midfield at the Stamford Bridge.
