Pedrinho

Chelsea and Liverpool are reported to have missed out on the opportunity to sign Corinthians wonderkid Pedrinho despite being available.

It was reported that Pedrinho’s agent Kia Joorabchian was interested in having his player move to the top clubs in Europe in the summer and earlier in the January transfer window.

According to reports, Kia Joorabchian contacted the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris St Germain and Ajax to have the service of the player but none of them heeded to his plea until the Brazilian returned to his country to join Corinthians.

Liverpool was highly pressurized to have the player because they are known to have a good relationship with Brazilian players knowing with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Alisson Becker and Fabinho all excelling at the club.

It was reported that the manager Jurgen Klopp rejected Pedrinho on two occasions but the agent seems not to be giving up as he is open that the German manager will soon be convinced on the youngster who can play as a winger despite being a no. 10.

A move Chelsea is not feasible at the moment with the many options available to manager Maurizio Sarri at the midfield at the Stamford Bridge.

Daniele Rugani

Chelsea long-term target and Juventus star Daniele Rugani is set to remain at the Italian side following reports that he could pen a new deal at the club.

This was disclosed by Daniele Rugani’s agent Davide Torchia who stated that the Turin side are bent on putting an end to the speculation on the player’s future and have started plans to hold talks for a new negotiation with the player.

The agent who spoke to Radio Sportiva made it clear that a fresh contract for Daniele Rugani at Turin is already at the corner as he tactically dismissed reports of any move for the star.

He noted that the West London side are not alone in the bid for the player but he will not be sold because of the believe the club has in him to deliver good performance for the club.

Daniele Rugani is well known to Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri as they both worked together at Italian club Empoli which makes the Blues keen to have him at the Stamford Bridge.

The West London side will be left with no option than to move in for other targets that will help challenge for the Premier League title this season.

Denis Suarez

North London side Arsenal are no longer alone in the race for Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona star Denis Suarez with West London side Chelsea joining the race.

Both London sides will now have to battle for the 24-year-old who is also interested in a move away from the Camp Nou for a regular playing time elsewhere.

However, there are suggestions that he might be allowed to leave the club if the right offer of about £15 million is tabled for his signature.

Denis Suarez is believed to be a good fit for both London side and he will be required to meet with representatives of the clubs to know the plans ahead for him so as to make a decision on where to be in the new year.

Both Arsenal and Chelsea are desperate for new additions in the midfield with the Gunners getting set to part ways with Wales international Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season.

It has been a good season for both sides with Arsenal going 22 games without a defeat while Chelsea have seen just two defeats in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, the ambition of both sides is to qualify for the Champions League next season as they both play in the Europa League this season.

With recent reports that the former Napoli boss is running out of patience on the former Real Madrid player, he could be relegated to the bench in the second stanza of the current season.

However, Barcelona star Jordi Alba stated that Barcelona remains a good club that will fit good players like the former Real Madrid star, adding that he has always admired the Spanish striker.

Eder Militao

Highly rated journalist Duncan Castles have confirmed that West London side Chelsea are interested in Porto youngster Eder Militao and are set to beat Premier League rivals Manchester United for his signature.

The Red Devils are reported to be interested in the star signature but they have been told they will not be able to secure his service with Chelsea already favoured.

United are desperate for a new defender and manager Jose Mourinho is all out to secure the services of quality players to the team which makes Eder Militao a good fit.

They have so far conceded 26 goals in 16 games and sit sixth place in the English Premier League table which makes their defence one of the worst in the first six teams.

However, the Blues are also keen to have new additions at the back and have gone ahead with a bid already submitted for the star player.

Manager Maurizio Sarri is desperate to have a title this season as well as to qualify for next season’s Champions League and that will only be made easy with a quality squad as well as good options.

Eden Hazard

It is no longer news that Real Madrid are keen on having the signature of Chelsea star and Belgium international Eden Hazard.

Following weeks of speculations and drama, it now looks certain that the Belgium star will be leaving the West London club at the end of the season after reportedly making such a pronouncement.

Hazard has refused to sign a new deal with the Blues as he has his eyes on the Spanish La Liga side with Chelsea already giving up on keeping him at the Stamford Bridge.

However, it is now claimed that the Blues have demanded to have Spanish international Marco Asensio as part of the deal that will have Hazard leave the club for Real Madrid.

It was also revealed that the Blues had earlier requested for loanee Mateo Kovacic but the Spanish La Liga side are reluctant in making his loan move permanent but will rather release Marco Asensio in the deal.

Meanwhile, not minding what the outcome of the negotiation between both clubs, it is confirmed that the Belgium man will be saying his goodbye to the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season after his six years spell at the West London club.

Lorenzo Pellegrini

Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri is desperate to win Premier League rivals Manchester United in the race to sign Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini ahead of the coming winter transfer window, according to recent reports from Italy.

Italian newspaper II Messaggero reports that Manchester United are already in the race for the player even before the West London club but Manager Sarri is working hard to win the race for the star player.

It has been claimed that United manager Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Lorenzo Pellegrini and has been monitoring the star midfielder for some months but he will have to work hard or risk being beaten by ambitious Chelsea boss Sarri.

Sarri seems to be giving up in his bid to retain Croatia international Mateo Kovacic at the Stamford Bridge beyond the season which makes him make efforts into sealing a deal with Lorenzo Pellegrini.

Mateo Kovacic remains a Real Madrid player despite his loan spell with the West London side and he is set to return at the end of the campaign with the Spanish giants insisting that he would not be allowed to remain at the Stamford Bridge beyond this season.

English Premier League side Chelsea will now lose their player Tiemoue Bakayoko to Italian Serie A side AC Milan after he is reported to have stated that he will not return back to the Stamford Bridge.

Tiemoue Bakayoko left the Stamford Bridge after being unable to break into the Chelsea first team to AC Milan and he seems to be enjoying life at the Italian Serie A.

It would be recalled that Milan boss Gennaro Gatusso hinted that he will like to retain the player at the club despite stating that Tiemoue Bakayoko has a lot to improve in his game.

However, the player himself has now given his wish on his future and that is a no going back for him to the West London side having impressed and become a regular at the club.

Although, Tiemoue Bakayoko had a challenging start of his spell with the Gennaro Gatusso side but the situation is believed to have improved a lot.

Meanwhile, the reaction of the West London side to Tiemoue Bakayoko’s wish is yet to be known but there are insinuations that the French star will not be forced to return as he is currently not needed by manager Maurizio Sarri.

Sarri confirms winter transfer activities

Timothy Aiyeku

sarri

English Premier League outfit Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has given the hint that his side will have some transfer activates when the winter transfer window is opened.

With few weeks to the opening of the window, the West London side have already been linked with a number of players that could eventually find their ways to the Stamford Bridge.

Having started on a very good note, the season is now becoming more difficult for the Blues team especially after they saw their first two consecutive defeats in the Premier League against Tottenham and Wolves respectively.

Chelsea were only encouraged and brought back into the title race when they defeated Premier League champions Manchester City at the last weekend.

The Italian boss is now ready to do some business but noted that he will not rush into buys and will not have too many additions in the winter window.

The Italian boss, therefore, stressed that what is most important is a change of mentality by his side that will help blend with the new way of playing before any addition.

However, while an addition is expected, suggestions are that a number of players will find their ways out of the club as a result of their lack of playing time under the former Napoli boss.

Chelsea fans

English Premier League side Chelsea are set to conclude the group stage of the Europa League against Videoton later on Thursday evening with the hope of having a perfect record.

The West London side have not lost any game so far in the competition and they will hope it continues despite already booking their place in the second round as group leaders.

More still, their host in Hungary are currently the third position and will only need a draw or win to qualify to the knockout stage which will definitely make the clash a good one to see.

However, Chelsea fans will not expect to see Kepa Arrizabalaga in between the sticks for the obvious reason that work has already been done which means Willy Caballero would be available.

Because of the expected fight from the home side, Sarri is likely to stick with a good side at the defence with Zappacosta, Christensen, Gary Cahill and Emerson.

Also, Cesc Fabregas, Ross Barkley and Ampadu could get the nod at the middle while Victor Moses, Alvaro Morata and Hudson-Odoi could also be considered in the attack.

Meanwhile, the West London side have had a good outing so far this season despite recently seeing two consecutive defeats in the Premier League against Tottenham and Wolves.

No free run for Chelsea as Tottenham speed up approach midfield maestro

Timothy Aiyeku

Mateo Kovacic

It was earlier expected that West London side will have a free run in their bid to sign Croatia international Mateo Kovacic on a permanent bid but that has changed with reports that London rivals Tottenham have already approached his owners Real Madrid.

Mateo Kovacic is currently on loan at the Stamford Bridge after failing to make the team at the Bernabeu and has impressed manager Maurizio Sarri which makes the club plan the idea of having him on a permanent deal.

With Real Madrid looking unsure about having Mateo Kovacic return back to Spain, Tottenham are making efforts to steal the opportunity and they are reported to have made inquiries about the player’s availability.

The North London side had no transfer deal in the last summer because of the financial commitment of the club on the new stadium and they seem to be storming the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks to have more additions.

Tottenham see Mateo Kovacic as a good fit for the club and they are hopeful they can convince him into staying at the club knowing that he has lots of competitors at the Stamford Bridge which he might not win at the end of the day.
