Emerging reports indicate that Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to take a big gamble as they consider moving for Chelsea powerhouse N’Golo Kante to bolster their midfield.
This was reported by Spanish newspaper Don Balon which states that the French midfielder is being monitored by Madrid president Florentino Perez and he is ready to break the bank to have the player.
Los Blancos are willing to pay the sum of £140 million for the player with the hope that it may tempt the West London club into releasing the player.
Kante is one of the most important players and an asset to the Chelsea team having grown to be one of the best midfielders in the world.
His impact at Leicester City ensure they won a record League title while he was able to win it double at the Stamford Bridge the following year.
The 27-year-old also made a big impact at the Russia 2018 World Cup where he helped his France national team win the tournament.
His value has since skyrocket and he is expected to remain at the Stamford Bridge for a longer period of time despite interest coming from the Spanish giants as well as French side Paris St Germain.
