Premier League giants Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow in their bid to offload expensive flop Alexis Sanchez during the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The 29-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to French side Paris Saint Germain (PSG) with several reports claiming that Sanchez has ordered his agent Fernando Felicevich to get him a move to the Champions League campaigners.
According to the publication from the Daily Telegraph via caughtoffside, PSG are not interested in a transfer for the Chilean international star with the club firmly focused on signing young players.
Alexis Sanchez has been a shadow of himself since he swapped Arsenal for rivals Manchester United in January.
Sanchez joined the Red Devils in a swap deal involving Armenian international playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
The former Udinese and Barcelona player signed a four-and-a-half year contract believed to be worth around £500,000 on a weekly basis.
Since the transfer, Alexis Sanchez has scored just four goals in 30 appearances for Manchester United either side of the summer.
He has also been dropped from the team on several occasions this season.
His Manchester United career is in stark contrast to the one he enjoyed at Arsenal where he won two FA Cup titles with the Gunners.
