Nicolo Barella

It has been established that barring a last minute change in mind, Liverpool’s target and Cagliari starlet Nicolo Barella is not leaving the club to the Anfield.

The decision has been made by Nicolo Barella who stated that he wants to remain in Italy during the winter transfer window.

The Reds are in search of good midfielders who will help serve as the cover for Philippe Coutinho who is believed to being missed since his departure away from the club to Spanish side Barcelona.

The 21-year-old is a known footballer in Italy which makes it difficult for him to move away from the club outside where he his known. He is currently having it good especially with his last season performance where he played 35 matches in all competitions and scored 6 goals in addition to an assist.

Nicolo Barella has got a contract with the Rossoblu until 2022 with his release clause pegged at £50 million having created a value for himself which has attracted bigger clubs from Europe.

The star player also saw games with the national team last October which remains a big boost to his career.

Liverpool are keen to have the player especially with the injury of Oxlade-Chamberlain and Lallana which has affected the team’s outing in recent games.
