A lot of clubs have been mentioned to be seeking for the signature of Toulouse central defender Jean-Clair Todibo but it is being reported that Liverpool are winning the race to have his signature.

The recent results coming from the Anfield especially their latest defeat suffered against Red Star Belgrade has made it that the Reds are in need for a highly powered midfielder who can blend with the like of Virgil van Dijk.

The French defender has been interesting a lot of clubs as a result of his amazing displays this season and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to be willing to break the bank for the French defender ahead of the January winter transfer window.

This season alone, Jean-Clair Todibo has made 10 appearances for his French side and has a goal to his name in Ligue 1 despite being an 18-year-old defender.

Jean-Clair Todibo’s age has been the point of attraction as he is believed to be a long-term asset to any club who signs Jean-Clair Todibo.

Also, Jean-Clair Todibo has got a price tag of about £5 million which is not an issue for Liverpool who spent about £100 million in the summer window for the recruitment of new players.
