Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp seems bent on adding more options to his attack with his three strikers having an inconsistent form so far this season.
The likes of Egyptian striker Mohamed Salah, Brazilian’s Roberto Fermino and Sadio Mane are under-firing this season and have all failed to replicate last season’s success at the club.
The efforts of the three attackers brought the Anfield side close to a title win as they finished runners-up in both the Premier League and the Champions League.
With a seeming opposite situation, the German manager has resulted to securing another attacker to salvage his season and is reported to have entered the race for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Luka Jovic who is already being monitored by Chelsea.
The Serbia international has been tipped to be a perfect cover for the under-firing attackers at the Merseyside club and Klopp is reportedly ready to pay big to win the race to sign the player in the winter transfer window.
Luka Jovic has scored a total of 10 goals in 7 appearances and two assists in all competitions. His age has also encouraged clubs to come looking for him.
The 20-year-old who is currently on loan in Germany will return to Portugal to be with his real owners Benfica where the decision would be made.
