Lyon’s Nabil Fekir’s name has been flying around England with reports that top English Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Chelsea and Liverpool, in addition to German side Bayer Munich all scramble for his signature ahead of the January window.
Latest report reveals that the player could be heading to the Stamford Bridge with manager Maurizio Sarri alleged to have called the player to have certain discussions with him on the phone.
It is reported that the Italian manager has already informed the Lyon star of the projects at the Stamford Bridge with suggestions that it goes the same direction as the wish of the player.
According to the reports, one of the promises handed to Fekir is that he would be an “undisputed holder” in the team as well as the steps taken by the club to win titles in the current season.
This, therefore, means that other suitors will have to look another direction or make serious moves to convince the player with juicy financial offers for the French player.
The coming of the Lyon player will, however, spell doom to former Barcelona star Pedro who will now be rated below Eden Hazard, Fekir and Willian in the pecking order.
