Despite the solid attack force in Egyptian forward, Mohamed Salah, Brazilian’s Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, 18-year-old Mallorca youngster Víctor de Baunbag is still been described as an ideal target for the Reds.
Baunbag, who has a Cameroonian origin but given birth to in Spain is currently, plying his trade with Mallorca where he has spent all of his football career, finishing each season as the highest goal scorer for the youth side.
His performance has caught the attention of most clubs across Europe with Liverpool believed to be leading in the race for his signature. However, Spanish outlet Sport claims that de Baunbag would be the “ideal” centre-forward for the Premier League.
Giving reasons for the above claim, it has been noted that the forward has got physical attributes which includes a height of 1.91m tall which is a threat to defenders.
Liverpool have reportedly registered their interest in de Baunbag and are reported to be working hard to make the Cameroonian as a replacement for Dominic Solanke and Divock Origi who have both not proved they deserve to remain at the club.
Meanwhile, it is unsure if de Baunbag will have a regular playing time at the moment knowing the force that is on ground at the Merseyside team.
