Emerging reports indicate that Chelsea have been handed a boost in their pursuit of AC Milan midfielder Suso.

It would be recalled that the West London side made a move for the player in the summer with manager Maurizio Sarri insisting on a deal but it failed eventually.

However, it was alleged that the Blues told the Italian giants of their intention to return for the player and it seems their request have been permitted after reported that AC Milan are ready to have Suso’s release clause activated for the Blues.

The Stamford Bridge side are also encouraged with the fact that they would be handed the opportunity to bargain the release clause which leaves the possibility of having the 24-year-old at a discount price.

According to Sport Witness, the Spaniard might be allowed to leave the Italian side for a fee between €38million and €40million with his current contract expects to expire in 2022.

The performance of the former Napoli boss at the Stamford Bridge has handed him the trust before the Chelsea owners which makes it easy for him to get all of his wishes to equip the team ahead of the challenge.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are not alone in the pursuit for Suso with Real Madrid also hoping to have the forward with 19 goals in 108 appearances for the Rossoneri since joining from Liverpool in 2015.
