There is no doubt that Chelsea will be active at the January transfer window with strikers as their major target for the lookout.

However, the Blues are reportedly gunning for Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson who is expected to solve the goal drought by Chelsea strikers.

French striker Olivier Giroud has been completely off in goal scoring while Alvaro Morata is not as consistent as expected.

The West London side had been severally rescued by goals from midfielders with Eden Hazard doing the rescue before his injury and Ross Barkley now helping to score goals, one of which is the last minute goal scored against Manchester United at the Stamford Bridge.

However, there is a possibility of having a striker in January with Bournemouth’s Wilson being the focal point at the moment.

Wilson has attracted Chelsea with his seven goals and four further assists in the current campaign after returning from an injury that lasted for three years.

Chelsea are unbeaten in all competitions so far this season and manager Maurizio Sarri is ready making effort to have it stretched so as to stand a chance of winning a title.

Howbeit, the Italian manager is believed to be trusted by the management with suggestions that he would be given all support in financial terms to be active in the January transfer window.
