Man United Skeptical About Transfer For £20mn Rated Defender

Premier League giants Manchester United reportedly have doubts over a move for highly-rated Bournemouth defender Nathan Ake ahead of the January transfer window.
According to a report from MEN via sportsmole, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is not convinced about his position but the Red Devils don’t want to lose him to rivals Chelsea who have the first refusal on him.
The Dutch international centre-back spent the first half of the 2016/17 Premier League season on loan at the South Coast club while he was a Chelsea player.
Bournemouth made his transfer permanent in the summer of 2017 after they paid £20m for his services.
Mourinho has a war chest of £100m to spend on transfers in the January transfer window and his priority is to sign a new centre-back and a new centre-forward.
Seven-cap Netherlands international Nathan Ake had the chance to audition for a role at Manchester United when Bournemouth hosted the Red Devils in a Premier League meeting at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Nathan Ake impressed a great deal against the Red Devils but still ended on the losing side after Bournemouth were handed their first home league defeat of the new season via a 2-1 loss.
