They will need to fend off European competition in the form of the German Bundesliga duo of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich in the bid to sign the 23-year-old.
He has been in sensational form for his French Ligue 1 side this season.
The winger scored 13 goals and provided five assists in 36 league outing for Lille as helped the club escape relegation from the French top flight last season.
Pepe has scored eight goals and provided seven assists already this season.
He has emerged as an important player for Ivory Coast as well.
The Lille star has netted three times for the two-time African champions in nine international matches.
Nicolas Pepe is a left-footed player that loves to play on the right wing and he’ll be a fantastic addition to the Arsenal squad.
